Charlie's Tip:

DAF was a very popular car manufacturer in the Netherlands. DAF stands for "van Doorne's Automobiel Fabriek". DAF cars became extremely popular in Holland. This gear-less transmission is still in use in as many as 40 different cars today, often referred to as a CVT transmission.
