G6 Diesel Locomotive Hector Rail VI
New Piko item for 2022: Version with MTU motor and double lamps and printing by Hector Rail in Era VI. The PIKO G 6 has a zinc die-cast frame and cab, a powerful, slow-turning motor, a traction tire for higher tractive forces, a tidy circuit board with Plux22 interface, a buffer capacitor to bridge short-term power interruptions, LED lighting with very good luminosity and digitally switchable tail light.
On the running gear, among other things, brake cylinders and Indusi magnets are mounted separately, the middle axle is mounted height-adjustable (3-point bearing), the wheels are profiled with replicas of the disc brakes. Power is drawn from all wheels.
The model is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. Brake hoses for optional upgrade for display case use are included.
