As early as the end of 1949, the Horex Columbus plant in Bad Homburg could present its completely newly developed 350 cc Regina to a public that was enthusiastic right from the beginning. The beautiful single-cylinder machine was equipped with state-of-the-art motorcycle technology for that time. Thus it already had a telescopic spring fork, a modern straight rear wheel suspension and, as an absolute treat, light alloy full hub drum brakes which had, until then, been used almost exclusively for racing machines. The twin chrome exhaust pipes, a partly chromed fuel tank and details such as chrome rims lined in two colours turned the Regina into a real eye-catcher.

The vertical long-stroke engine could produce at its peak 18 HP at 5,000 rpm, which helped this dream motorcycle of the 1950’s achieve an impressive on-road performance. Gears were changed on the Horex Regina on the motorcycle’s right-hand side, just like the leading English motorcycles – like a Triumph or Norton – at that time. The Horex Regina with single seat is a brand highlight in the high quality and precision performance Classic Motorcycle Edition 1:10 from Schuco. The series meets the highest quality standards and wows fans with its authentic high-gloss finish. Features such as rotating wheels and fully functional suspension are an integral part of these models and have established them as a firm favourite with motorcycle enthusiasts.
