The radius is 195mm, which is close to 7-11/16 inches. That means that a half or full circle has a diameter of 15-3/8 inches. This is measured from the center of the track piece to the center of the track piece.
The second picture shows the track geometry
- For a full circle you need 12 pieces
- For a half circle you need 6 pieces
- For a 90 degree turn (quarter circle) you need 3 pieces
- For a tighter circle, use 8510
- For a wider circle, use 8530 or 8531

Track 8520 is the same radius curve. It is longer, and spans 45 degrees.
