Steam locomotive 18.4 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft. The steam locomotives of the series S 3/6 of the Royal Bavarian State Railway (BR 18.4-5 of the Deutschen Reichsbahn) were express train locomotives with the wheel arrangement 2&rsquo, C1&rsquo, (Pacific). These locomotives are special amongst the country rail locomotives insofar as they have been procured over a time period of almost 25 years, still during the time of the Deutschen Reichsbahn. A total number of 159 exemplars were produced, more than all of the other country railway Pacifics combined.
