Christening of the Roco Destination Nature Locomotive II

Christening of the Roco Destination Nature Locomotive II

At the end of July, the second Destination Nature locomotive was presented at Munich Central Station, which once again impresses with its beautiful design. One side of the 101 039-6 is decorated with the Swiss National Park with its impressive Alpine landscape. The second side shows a motif from the Allgäu High Alps nature reserve, an area that received the Destination Nature Award in 2023.

The Class 101 locomotives will continue to be an important pillar of intercity traffic in Germany and for traffic to neighboring countries in the coming years. Together with their sister locomotive, the Destination Nature locomotives carry the message of climate-friendly and, above all, car-free tourism out into the world.

The Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder was also present at the locomotive christening and was presented with a first hand sample of the ROCO model.

The model will be released exclusively by ROCO this autumn as a one-off edition and fits perfectly with the first version of the Destination Nature series.

Look forward to this special gem for your collection, because as usual the model will impress with its detailed printing. High traction and perfect operational suitability are of course also on board.
