You can improve the running performance of your older Marklin Z-scale models, by upgrading the 3-pole motors in those models to the new Mini-club 5-pole motor.
The list below shows you the replacement motor you will need.
As with all lists, there may be a typo or error in the list. So I advise to use this list as a start. When you find the required replacement motor from the list, compare it with the motor that you have.
Most motors look and are very similar, and the difference will be in the length of the motor shaft, and the gear attached to it.
We can sell you the 5-pole replacement motor, or, if you prefer, we can recoomend you with an outside technician who can perform the conversion for you.
