BR 181.2 Electric Locomotive DB "Mosel" IV Sound
New Piko item for 2022: DB class 181.2 variant with Mosel printing of Era IV. The PIKO model of the important 181.2 multi-system locomotive series shows all the relevant details of its prototype and impresses with the finest painting and printing, raised nameplates on the sides, extra set front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie covers, fine insulators and pantographs with different collector strips. Lighting is provided by LEDs. The standard cab and engine room lights are digitally switchable with PluX22 decoders, as are the direction-dependent tail lights.
A powerful five-pole motor with flywheel masses, which drives all four axles, provides excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy zinc die-cast frame for large tractive forces.
The PIKO 181.2 is prepared for an uncomplicated retrofit with sound and the largest possible speaker. The AC model is already equipped ex works with a suitable mfx® suitable PluX22 decoder.
