New Piko item for 2022: Print version of the German State Railroad´s class 55 in Era III. The PIKO model impresses with the finest paint and printing, successful mold construction, and a coherent implementation of the prototype. Many applied details, such as locomotive whistle, free-standing lines and piston protection tubes are worthy of mention.

The PIKO BR 55 has a digitally switchable light change that works depending on the direction of travel, a heavy zinc die-cast frame and a powerful motor for excellent driving characteristics. A close locomotive-tender spacing is mandatory on PIKO models.

Thanks to the integrated Next18 interface, retrofitting of a digital decoder as well as sound is possible in just a few steps.
