Information about the model
In 1883, the Württemberg State Railway received 10 passenger carriages from the Esslingen machine factory. These had a very Prussian look with their skylight roofs. Originally, they had 6 seats in 1st class and 28 seats in 2nd class, as well as a toilet. As the route network in Germany continued to expand, it became necessary to offer night trains in the future. To this end, so-called sleeping carriages were built, which stood out from the passenger trains from a distance thanks to their paintwork.
