Although their loading weight was lower than that of the newer wagons of the Gm and Glm types, Bavaria could not do without the older G wagons. The limited load-bearing capacity was not a problem, particularly when transporting lighter general cargo, such as the products of the extensive glass industry in the Bavarian Forest. So after 1912 the older wagons were also painted reddish-brown and were classified in the newly created "Regensburg" type district. All wagons with a loading weight of less than 15 t were gathered here.
