LGB 24520 - Dalnitz Railroad Diesel Locomotive,
Two former ÖBB class 2091.10 diesel locomotives were purchased among other things in order to ensure rational operation of the routes in the Mügeln network. These rather unusual units had a baggage compartment which originally allowed trains to run without a baggage car. This prototypical LGB model reproduces exactly the Döllnitz Railroad locomotive with road number 199 031-6 “Mogelin”.
The model has a built-in multi-train control system decoder. It also has 4 axles powered in encapsulated gear drives with 2 motors. 1 traction tire. A general-purpose electrical socket with a safety feature is installed on the rear. The locomotive has a built-in selector switch for the mode of operation. The headlights change over with the direction of travel. The doors for the engineer‘s cabs and for the baggage area can be opened.
Length over the buffers 46 cm / 18-1/8".
