LGB 30506 - Compartment Car, 3rd/4th Class

Compartment cars were once very widely used. They were used on the railroad as well as on streetcar and municipal railroads.

This prototypically painted and lettered LGB model is a reproduction of a car for 3rd/4th class. All of the doors on the model can be opened and allow you to see the detailed compartments done up in prototypical colors. The compartments are lettered with both the car class and of course with "Raucher" ("Smoker") or "Nichtraucher" ("Non-Smoker") signs as they were at the time in real life.
