Marklin 26490 - Blue Bird Alco PA-1 Passenger Train

Prototype: WABASH Railroad Alco PA-1 heavy diesel locomotive with 6 streamliner passenger cars. The train ran in the Fifties under the name "Blue Bird" between Chicago and St. Louis.
Model: The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high efficiency propulsion. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. The headlight is a warm white LED. All of the cars have factory-installed interior lighting. The observation car has a red marker light. The cars receive current from the locomotive by means of a current-conducting close coupler. The headlight and the interior lighting will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally.
