Sound electric locomotive Rh 1067 ÖBB IV AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2025: With the new design of the ÖBB series 1067, this special electric locomotive is appearing for the first time as a mass-produced model. Our designers have succeeded in implementing the compact shunting locomotives in the H0 scale with great success. Highlights include the filigree metal pantograph with no visible screw connections on the roof and the detailed cooling system in the front section. Technically, the model even surpasses its prototype, so that the usual reliable system operation is guaranteed. Analogue, the PIKO new design has a light change in red and white depending on the direction of travel as well as illuminated instruments in the driver's cab. Thanks to the PSD XP sound decoder integrated into the model at the factory, there is also driver's cab lighting, which ideally shows off the equipment. All lighting functions are of course implemented using modern, maintenance-free LED technology. In addition, numerous, true-to-original vehicle sounds enable varied system operation. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers, a new quality mark "fits mfx®" was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the quality mark "fits mfx®", which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the "fits mfx®" logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
