New in 2025: Railion's BR 185 electric locomotive in Era V as a contemporary model in N gauge. The striking proportions of the original have been perfectly reproduced in scale in the model. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs are evidence of modern toolmaking and excellent manufacturing techniques. The powerful mid-engine with its two precisely balanced flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics and high traction performance, which is further supported by two traction tires arranged diagonally on the middle axles. The model comes with maintenance-free LED lighting with light changes depending on the direction of travel, as well as a modern Next18 interface for the easy installation of a digital decoder, which enables even more true-to-the-original operation on the model railway layout.
