The model of the NS 2200 impresses with the finest housing engravings and detailed representations of the heavy bogiesAmerican design with many extra parts. The railings are filigree and free-standing. Further highlights of the PIKO NS 2200 are the free view through the driver´s cab and the digitally switchable cab lighting as well as the flashing beacons. The model has a factory-installed buffer capacitor for optimum running characteristics without sound interruptions.
The factory-installed PIKO sound decoder 4.1 of the latest generation handles the data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix®, and is mfx-capable.
The built-in speaker is precisely tuned to the locomotive type. Many locomotive-typical sounds such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeal, and other switchable functions can be called up individually. The tail light can be switched separately.
Sound is also possible in analog operation - only engine sound. Brake hoses for optional upgrade for display case use are included.
