Piko 52892 - VT 2.09 Diesel railcar Panorama + VB DR III Sound
VT 2.09 Diesel railcar Panorama + VB DR III Sound
New Piko item for 2022: With the newly constructed model of the VT 2.09 rail bus of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, PIKO is responding to a frequently mentioned wish of many model railroaders for a contemporary, detailed and also operationally suitable version of the well-known "piglet cab". After the development of the innovative control logic of the DB rail bus, for which PIKO received the Golden Track 2017, it is obvious to now also implement the widespread counterpart from East Germany in detail with a corresponding logic.
The railcar is driven by a powerful micromotor, which is equipped with flywheel masses for the sake of flawless running characteristics, and has a factory-installed buffer capacitor for optimal running characteristics without sound interruptions. The drive acts on both axles of the powered rail car. The powered rail car and car can be coupled together using current-conducting close coupler kinematics. The lighting functions of both cars can be switched separately, allowing a clear view through the passenger compartments. The traction unit independently registers whether a sidecar is attached and then switches off the lighting between the vehicles.
The PIKO "Ferkeltaxe" "piglet cab" is already equipped ex works with a suitable mfx®-capable PluX22 sound decoder.
