Die Lokomotiven der Bauart Re 4/4II und Re 4/4III wurden, mit Ausnahme der TEE-Lokomotiven und des letzten Bauloses, alle in grüner Farbe ausgeliefert. Danach wurde bei Hauptrevisionen der feuerrote Lack zur Standardfarbe. Als eine der letzten Maschinen im SBB-Konzern hat die heute als 430 364-0 bezeichnete Lok das grüne Farbkleid über die gesamte Einsatzzeit behalten.
