Roco 74870 - Sleeper, DSG
Sleeper, type WLAB4üge of the Deutsche Schlafwagen- und Speisewagen-Gesellschaft and utilised by the German Federal Railways.
■ For the first time featuring a beige-coloured roof
The newly-founded Deutsche Schlafwagen- und Speisewagen-Gesellschaft (DSG) took over most of the MITROPA sleepers which had survived the Second World War and their use by the occupying forces. At the end of the 1950s, several of these sleepers were equipped with rubber diaphragm transitions. Due to their sturdy construction, 26 of these coaches were given a UIC-compliant coach number in 1966.
