Trix 16043 - Class 03.10 "Reko" Steam Locomotive

Model: This locomotive has tooling changes to the running boards specific to the locomotive type. The tender is constructed of die-cast metal. The locomotive has a built-in DCC digital decoder and sound generator. The locomotive and tender are close coupled. 3 axles in the tender powered. Traction tires. Warm white LEDs are used for the triple headlights, running gear lights, and cab lighting. The headlights change over with the direction of travel and will work in analog operation.Length over the buffers 150 mm / 5-7/8".

Prototype: German State Railroad (DR/GDR) steam locomotive, road number 03 0090-5, with a "Reko" / postwar redesigned boiler, mixing preheater, and oil main firing, 4-6-2 design with a type 2'2 T 34 oil tender. The locomotive looks as it did around 1979.

Charlie's Tip: An accessory parts kit with brakeman's steps, rail guards, piston rod protection sleeves, and a front coupler with a pocket is included.
