Model: The locomotive and tender are constructed of die-cast metal. The locomotive has a motor with a bell-shaped armature and a flywheel, in the boiler. The locomotive has a built-in DCC digital decoder and sound generator. The locomotive and tender are close coupled. 3 axles powered by means of side rods. Traction tires. Firebox lights flicker by means of processor-controlled LEDs (red-orange). Warm white LEDs are used for the dual headlights and cab lighting.
Length over the buffers 144 mm / 5-11/16".
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) express train locomotive with a tender, road number 18 613, 4-6-2 design with a type bay 2´2 T 31,7 tender. The locomotive looks as it did around 1957.
