Trix 16265 - Class 114 Electric Locomotive
Model: The locomotive has a built-in digital decoder and a sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. The locomotive motor has a flywheel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. Warm white LEDs are used for the headlights. They and the marker lights change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has a close coupler mechanism. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons. Length over the buffers 103 mm / 4-1/16".
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) standard design electric locomotive, road number 114 502-8, with aerodynamic ends ("Bügelfalte" / "Pants Crease"). B-B wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1963. Crimson/ivory basic paint scheme. The locomotive looks as it did around 1988.Use: Passenger trains in commuter and long-distance service and occasionally also freight service.
