Trix 22646 - Class 218 Diesel Locomotive

The cab lighting, which changes over with the direction of travel, and the engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. A buffer capacitor is fitted. The locomotive has separately applied metal grab irons on the sides and ends. The buffer height conforms to NEM specifications. Close couplings with guide mechanisms. Brake lines and screw couplers are included as parts that can be applied separately. Length over buffers 18.9 cm / 7-7/16".
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 218 diesel locomotive. Pure orange/light gray basic paint scheme. Road number 218 140-2. The loco looks as it did starting in 1985.
