Brawa 0893 - Diesel Locomotive GP 30 AT & SF
Prototype: The GP 30 was in widespread use throughout the USA and Canada. It was developed by EMD on the basis of the GP 20. Between 1961 and 1963, a total of 908 GP 30s were built. The 16-cylinder two-stroke diesel engine delivered 2,250 HP. The Atchison Topeka &, Santa Fe Railroad also used a large stock of these reliable locomotives.
Model: This model was produced by Life-Like for Brawa, and had a premium digital decoder, and pick-up shoe. Nicely detailed, and a great add-on for your Marklin layout.
