Brawa 2085 - horse car

In 1862, K.W.St.E. bought four so-called horse cars built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen to transport horses. The horse cars had the same dimensions as the covered freight cars of the period but had several ventilation openings on the sides. The interiors of the cars were equipped with special protection fittings for the transportation of horses. In particular the H.1176 car was specially fitted for the transportation of luxury horses and equipped with padded walls and barriers to divide the interior into six individual stalls.
