In 1878, the ox owner, Robert Leicht, opened his brewery in Vaihingen. Thanks to the most modern brewing and transportation methods, the Leicht brewery rapidly developed into one of the most important breweries in the Wü, rttemberg kingdom. In 1911 the company had 19 beer cars in operation - almost a quarter of all beer cars in Wü, rttemberg - at K.W.St.E.
