Steam Locomotive BR 8964 DR Road no. 89 6476 One of the earliest locomotives sold to private operators was 89 011. After four years on the Butzbach - Licher line as BbLE 35, in 1932 it arrived on the Dahme - Uckroer line, where it bore the number 1. In 1938 it was inherited by the Brandenburgische St&auml, dtebahn as number 38. After the incorporation of all private railways in the Soviet occupied zone into the DB in 1949, the former 89 011 also received a new number in accordance with the DR numbering scheme. It was in service until 1965 at the Jerichow depot as 89 6476, last seeing use on the Wusterwitz - Ziesar - G&ouml, rzke branch line. Its last big trip was to Prague, to be dismantled.
