Brawa 45002 - Postwagen K.W.St.E. I
Postwagen K.W.St.E. I
From 1898 onwards, the Wü, rttemberg State Railway purchased new rail post cars for the heavy rail post traffic on the Stuttgart-Frankfurt route. For financial reasons, the two-axle Coach design was retained. The construction proved itself, so that up to 1913 a total of 36 Coach es were purchased in mixed wood/steel design. In the field of use which led to their construction, they were unfortunately only temporarily in service after the K.P.E.V. prohibited the use of two-axle Coach es for express trains on its routes in 1898. Therefore the Coach es were mainly used in long passenger train routes within Wü, rttemberg.
