The class 13.10-12 (Prussian S 6) was a later development from the type S 4 (135). She was the last double coupled express train Locomotive in Germany, and at the same time, the heaviest on the whole continent. The S 6 comes from the time of the emergence of powerful passenger hauling locos of the Royal Prussian Railway Administration (KPEV). On the level, she hauled a passenger train with 13 coaches with a weight of 494 tons at a speed of 90 km/h. Up until 1913, 584 maschines of this type had been constructed; the DRG taking over 286 of the 110 km/h running engines into their vehicle fleet.
