Electric Locomotive BR185 BLS Alpinisten

The bls cargo Locomotive Re 485 003 got a new appearance in the beginning of July 2008 with the new bls cargo slogan "BLS Cargo. Die Alpinisten". With that the old sign "connecting Europe" disappeared. The message was put on one side of the Locomotive in German and on the other side in Italian. Furthermore the signs were modified to meet the newest regulations and the Locomotive numbers in the front were kept a little smaller. The Locomotive is wearing the new design as an experiment for the new Re 486 of the private railway company.

The model has four pantographs.
