Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class E 17 electric locomotive. "Bottle green" basic paint scheme. The locomotive has German State Railroad Company style headlights. Sun screens at the engineer's cabs. The locomotive looks as it did around 1963.

Model: The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder and factory-installed, controllable sound functions. It also has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. The engineer's cabs and the engine room have interior details. Hand rails and other details are separately applied. The roof is finely detailed, with transversely mounted support insulators on the pantographs, as well as the bell-shaped insulators and fluted insulators. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at Locomotive End 2 and 1 can be turned off separately from each other. When the headlights are turned off at both ends of the locomotive, then the "double A" lights function is on at both ends. The headlights are maintenance-free, warm white LEDs.

Length over the buffers 18.3 cm / 7-3/16".
