Marklin 60881 - S 88 Decoder Feedback Module
This is a feedback module for contact generators on digitally controlled layouts. This module can be plugged into the L88 (60883) with the cable included with the former. The s 88 has a connecting socket for additional s 88 decoders (60881).
Charlie's tips: If you want to power your modules from a separate power source, the first S-88 feedback module that you buy for your central station should be the L88 (60883). Additional units should be the 60881's, they connect to the 60883 and get their power from the 60883.
The S88 AC decoder registers and stores in memory electrical contacts when momentary or continuous switches connected to it are activated.
Typical momentary contacts are the Märklin circuit track or reed contacts.
An example of a continuous contact is the Märklin H0 contact tracks.
All switching contacts used with the S88 decoder must switch to ground (brown connection) in the Märklin Digital system.
This decoder is connected with the cable included with it directly to the L88 or to another S88 AC (make sure the cable is plugged in correctly). An address is assigned automatically.
