Marklin 8589 - Straight Circuit Track (55mm)

Straight Circuit Track. This is a direction dependent switch. When your locomotive passes over the track, it closes a circuit momentarily. You can use these switches to switch turnouts for example, or use them in connection with relays to automate block control.

Length 55 mm / 2-3/16". Terminal clips included. A passing train activates the function.

Charlie's Tip: Combine this with a track piece Marklin 8503 (also 55mm long) to replace a standard straight track piece Marklin 8500.
