Marklin 8945 - Universal Relay (Z-scale)

With two single-pole switches and one double-throw switch for various circuits. Unit can perform a wide variety of tasks automatically (up to 3 functions simultaneously). Operating current 10 volts. Double solenoid mechanism.

Charlie's tips:

• Can be activated with a circuit track, as well as a switch (like the 72720).
• Double throw can be used for a signal (red-green).
• Single throw for supplying track power to stop track section.
• On the first diagram image you see two of the block of 4 connectors used as one of the "on/off" switches.
• You can use the second set of two connectors on that block of 4 for another section of track (for example fed by a different transformer).
• The block of three connectors is the double throw switch. The center connector switches (connects) to either the left or the right connector (see last image).
