Electric locomotive Vectron BR 193 Kombirail VI
Released new for Piko 2024 at Ajckids: The BR 193 “Vectron” in the “We trust in Rail” design from KombiRail in Era VI. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and features proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor with two large flywheels ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive force of the locomotive, which is driven on all four axles, is increased by two traction tires that sit diagonally to one another on the internal axles of both bogies. The headlights and taillights are illuminated via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The externally elegant appearance of this model includes an exactly reproduced technical “roof landscape” and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface and sufficient space on the circuit board, the model is perfectly prepared for retrofitting a decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker.
