Sound-Electric Locomotive Rh 1100 NS IV AC version, incl. PIKO sound decoder

Novelty 2024: Electric locomotive Rh 1100 of the NS with blue paint and yellow stems in Era IV. To protect the personnel in the event of accidents, the locomotives of the 1100 series subsequently received stems that are similar to those of the 1700 series. The PIKO model has sharply engraved bogie trims with realistic spring package replicas and true-to-original replicas of the buffer planks. The lighting is done by LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the direction-dependent front and tail lights can be digitally switched with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy frame made of die-cast zinc and the engine with two large, precisely balanced swing masses ensure excellent driving characteristics and high tensile forces. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder with a matching speaker from the factory.

The model bears the "fits mfx®" quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark "fits mfx®" was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders who have passed a special mfx® test and have fully passed.
These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed carry the "fits mfx®" quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the "fits mfx®" logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
