New in 2025: Printed version of the GTW 2/6 electric multiple unit in the attractive design of the RM Bern S-Bahn in Era V. The model is particularly characterized by the separately and precisely fitted windows, the numerous, fine engravings on the paneling, the highly detailed bogies, the precisely constructed roof pantographs, and the precisely adjustable running characteristics of the GTW. The sound version comes with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers, a new "fits mfx®" quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the "fits mfx®" quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
