Novelty 2024: From the mid-1950s, two passenger train car series, which are referred to as conversion cars, were created by the conversion of state railway compartment cars at the Deutsche Bundesbahn. Unlike the model, existing parts were not used for the PIKO models of the three-axle conversion cars. The cars are complete new designs. The scale vehicles reproduce the original down to the smallest detail. Individually attached handle bars are just as much a part of the contemporary construction as flush- Flush, crystal-clear windows and a detailed interior design. The loving design continues on the floor of the car. Among other things, it convinces with free-standing lines and a filigree brake linkage. Like the model, the N conversion cars also appear as short-coupled pairs in the trade and have an exemplary distance between the cars. Together with the PIKO locomotive model of the E 32 series (Art. No. 40820), model train units can be formed that become an absolute eye-catcher on every system.
