New Piko item for 2024: Six-axle diesel locomotive BR 118.5-8 in the version of the DR with Sparlack in Era IV. In the model, the housing of the respective locomotive variant was precisely simulated with the fan grilles, flaps and hand rods. Fine engravings of the frame and the bogies as well as the authentic painting and lettering make the model particularly attractive. The drive is carried out by means of a powerful motor via cardan shafts to the transmissions, which drive four wheel sets. The model has a white / red lighting that changes in the direction of travel and comes with a PluX16 interface; the locomotive is prepared for uncomplicated retrofitting with sound. The model has TT short couplings!
