TT Sound-Electric Locomotive BR 240 CD V, including PIKO sound decoder
Released new for Piko 2024 at Ajckids: The elegant “Laminátka” from PIKO in the version as the BR 240 of the ČD in Era V. The shape variant takes into account the structural special features of the model locomotive. The grace of the machine was excellently transferred to the 1:120 scale and an absolutely harmonious overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, were elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body were visualized with sharp engravings. Technical elements such as the bogies were precisely reproduced. The “Laminátka” is powered by a powerful mid-engine with two flywheels, which acts on all four axles of the locomotive. The lighting in red and white, which changes with the direction of travel, is of course designed using contemporary LED technology. The model is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder and has harmonious, digitally switchable lighting in the driver's cab and engine room. The model has TT close couplings!
