New Piko item for 2024: Powerful, compact and yet extremely filigree, this new construction from PIKO is presented. The compact design of the model was perfectly hit and converted into the model to scale. Thanks to the filigree bar frame and the clear view in the engine area, the massive boiler seems to almost float. This impression is supported by the fine wheel stars of the chassis, which can also come up with a fine brake linkage. The typical, structural peculiarities of the models were also taken into account when implementing the model.
The crystal-clear window inserts of the driver's cab and the unobstructed interior leave the view of the detailed boiler and driver's cab rear wall. The zinc die-cast and metal parts give the model a very high dead weight, which in combination with the finely tuned motor with flywheels ensures optimal driving characteristics. By retrofitting a PSD XP decoder, the lighting of the engine and the driver's cab as well as the flickering in the firebox can be digitally switched. A modern PluX22 interface is available for this purpose. In addition, the model is prepared for sound retrofit with the largest possible speaker.
