New in 2025: DB E 44 electric locomotive in Era III in the version with resistance brake. The miniatures of the prototype and the series locomotives of the later 144 series shine with their exact scale. Equally sharp and precise engravings on the housing ensure enormous plastic depth and underline the excellent overall impression. This is also continued in the chassis area with numerous extra parts on the striking bogies. Identical in model quality, the differences between the prototype locomotives were nevertheless implemented in the model with the greatest possible level of detail. Technically, the model leaves little to be desired: the drive is both proven and robust, a PluX22 interface enables a PIKO digital decoder to be retrofitted very easily. In this configuration, for example, it is possible to switch on the engine room and driver's cab lighting.
