New in 2025: Variant of the V43 as a modernized V43.3 of the MÁV in Era V. The colorful design is extremely detailed and engraved true to the original. Inside, the locomotive has robust drive technology paired with the latest electronics. The model comes with a matching PSD XP sound decoder with a large loudspeaker and impresses with a variety of digital and sound functions. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers, a new "fits mfx®" quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the "fits mfx®" quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
