Sound electric locomotive BR 150 DB IV AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2025: Variant of the BR 150 of the DB in oriental red in Era IV. The model has excellent running characteristics thanks to two precisely balanced flywheels. The tractive power of the four-axle locomotive is increased by two traction tires. The front and rear lights change between red and white simultaneously with the direction of travel and are operated using the latest LEDs. The driver's cab lighting and the tail light can be switched digitally. The model comes with a PSD XP sound decoder as standard, which, in combination with the large loudspeaker, ensures special sound experiences on the model railway layout. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers, a new "fits mfx®" quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
