Piko 51977 - BR 181.2 Electric Locomotive Luxembourg DB IV
E-Lok BR 181.2 "Luxembourg" DB IV
Novelty 2024: Variant of the BR 181.2 of the DB with printing Luxembourg in Epoch IV. The PIKO model of the important multi-system locomotive series 181.2 shows all the relevant details of its role model and convinces with the finest paintwork and printing, raised name plates on the sides, specially attached front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie trims, fine insulators and pantographs with different grinding pieces. The lighting is done by LEDs. The standard built-in driver's cab and engine room lighting, like the direction-dependent tail lights with PluX22 decoder, can be digitally switched. A strong five-pole engine with flywheels, which drives all four axles, ensures excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two adhesive tires and a heavy zinc die-cast frame for large tensile forces. The PIKO 181.2 is prepared for uncomplicated retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. For the simple installation of a suitable decoder, a PluX22 digital interface is available on the tidy board.
