Sound-Electric Locomotive Rh 240 Lokotrans VI AC version, including PIKO sound decoder
Released new for Piko 2024 at Ajckids: Variant of the BR S499 as Rh 240 "Laminátka" in the black and yellow design from Lokotrans in Era VI. The grace of the elegant Škoda 47E “Laminátka” machines was excellently transferred to the 1:87 scale and an absolutely harmonious overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, were elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body were visualized with sharp engravings. Technical elements, such as the bogies, were precisely recreated, which complete the successful design of the model. The colorful livery of the model, including dynamic decorative elements, also suits the locomotive in 1:87 thanks to the elaborate paintwork and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor, whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheels. Red and white lighting that changes with the direction of travel is of course available and uses modern LED technology. The model has a matching PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeakerfrom the factory.
The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark “fits mfx®” was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have ondergone a special mfx® test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
