Released new for Piko 2024 at Ajckids: The SM31 in prototypical coloring and printing of the PKP in Era V. The true-to-scale design beautifully reproduces the massive proportions of the locomotive and still offers enough scope for the finest details. Three-dimensional engravings on the stem, openwork, fine fan grilles that allow a view of the rotatable fan inside, individually attached handle bars and the finest metal railings will also impress the discerning model railway enthusiast. Inside, the PIKO new design is also in tune with the times. The locomotive is factory-equipped with a PluX22 interface, which makes digitizing child's play for every model railway enthusiast. It is just as easy to retrofit a sound decoder and a loudspeaker with a maximum membrane area, which in combination ensure an optimal sound experience. With a variety of lighting functions, such as driver's desk lighting or maneuvering step lights, the new PIKO model offers a wide range of play options in digital operation, which are rounded off by silky-smooth driving characteristics and high tractive power.
