BR 245 Diesel Locomotive DB AG VI

New Piko item for 2022: Print variant of the DB AG class 245 in Era VI in the design of NAH.SH. In the model of the class 245, PIKO takes into account all of the changes to the series locomotives in the number and design of the roof and side vents compared to the prototype vehicles and reproduces them true to the original.

The model impresses with its exact paint scheme and printing, etched metal ventilation grilles, sharply engraved prototypical bogies, and many mounted free-standing parts, such as the front grab irons. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels provide excellent handling characteristics and high tractive forces. The cab lights and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder.

The model has a tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface and is prepared for an uncomplicated retrofit with sound decoder and large loudspeaker.
