New for 2021: The PIKO models of the RBe 4/4 family and the control cars from the EW II series have all the relevant details of their respective role models and convincingly reflect the eye-catching head shape.

The railcars have built-in interior and driver's cab lighting and are implemented to an exact 1:87 scale. Furthermore, the vehicles are characterized by the finest paintwork and printing, filigree pantographs and a precise roof landscape, attached handlebars and rearview mirrors, streak-free windows, sharply engraved bogies and detailed interior fittings. The vehicles have a motor with two flywheels, a PluX22 interface and are prepared for sound and the installation of a PIKO sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker. The interior lighting is also available ex works on the control car as standard.

The factory-installed PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 of the latest generation masters the data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and is mfx-capable. The built-in loudspeaker is precisely matched to the type of locomotive. Many typical locomotive noises such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeaking and other switchable functions can be called up individually. With adjustable individual mapping for up to 44 functions. The tail light can be switched separately.

Sound is also possible in analog mode - only engine noise. In the digital sets, the control car is equipped with a function decoder ex works. Brake hoses for optional retrofitting for showcase use are included.
